We encourage teams working on the 2021 Game Design Challenge and those working on the FIRST Innovation Challenge presented by Qualcomm to participate.  
 
Meet:
Dr. Dana Atwood-Blain, Education professor, who designs and teaches students to design augmented reality games to teach science topics. 
Dr. Lisa Kopf, Communication Sciences professor who uses gamification (the application of game design concepts to non-game situations) to help singers, sports casters, and teachers protect their voice.
STEM Coordinator, Marcy Seavey, who will break down past FRC games to illustrate how alliances are structured like D&D/MMO parties to build in challenges, collaboration, coopertition and the feeling of 'epic win'.

This event will consist of an interactive activity and each panelist sharing briefly about how gaming relates to their career and sharing a game design idea followed by both pre-submitted and live Q&A.  
 
This event is free and open to FRC team members.   
 
Register to be sent the link and password to the Zoom room.  You may register one person on behalf of your team or each person separately.  Your registration email will be used to send you information about this event and not for other purposes.
In addition to providing an email address, you may propose a question for the panel!  After the event, participants will be sent a list of game design websites and resources.
