UNI Community Eclipse Open House

Join the Earth & Environmental Sciences Department and STEM Support Services as we celebrate the April 8 Solar Eclipse on campus.  Free and open to all, the Solar Eclipse Open House will provide students, faculty, staff, and visitors the opportunity to experience the eclipse.  Activities will take place outside, south of the Campanile from 12:30 to 3:30 pm.  A telescope will be available to view the eclipse.  Activities and information will be available under the event tent, including a braille eclipse book.  Stop by between classes throughout the day!  

This event will be cancelled if there are thunderstorms taking place between noon and 4 pm on April 8.  Follow STEM Support Services on Facebook for up to date announcements during the event.

Remember - NEVER Look directly at the sun.  Equipment provided during the event include special filters which allow clipse viewing or project the eclipse onto the ground or other  surface for viewing.
